Welcome to the Gnostic Life website. We would be interested to hear from individuals who are looking for an opportunity to develop their spiritual lives and discover their truth, their God and their path in life, through initiation in the Sacred Gnostic Mysteries.

We are not here to preach, judge or give advice. We have no doctine or opinion. We stand at the door as guides and mentors, sharing our experience and laying out the initiation programme that has worked so effectively for us, outlining the process that has transformed our own lives.  If you are ready to make a new beginning, we believe we make an exceptional offer which can exceed the benefits of a lifetime of learning.

Our approach and philosophy may best be desribed by Henri Nouwen’s ‘Hospitality’:

‘Hospitality means the creation of a free space where the stranger can enter and become a friend instead of an enemy. Hospitality is not to change people but to offer them a place where change can take place.   It is not to bring men and women over to our side but to offer freedom not disturbed by dividing lines.   It is not to lead our neighbour in to a corner where there are no alternatives left but to open up a wide spectrum of options for choice and commitment.   It is not a method of making God and our way in to the criteria for happiness but the opening of an opportunity for others to find God and their way.

The paradox of hospitality is that it wants to create emptiness…not a fearful emptiness but a friendly emptiness where strangers can enter and discover themselves as created free;   free to sing their own songs, speak their own languages, dance their own dances, free also to leave and follow their own vocations.   Hospitality is not a subtle invitation to adopt the lifestyle of the host but the gift of a chance for the guest to find his or her own’.

Gnostic Life currenty operates as a Limited Company and is in the process of being established as a Not For Profit / Charitable Foundation in the United Kingdom.
